Round Up Or Round Down. ehhh?

Just went to pay one of my bills online and got this message:

So if the bill is €101.49 cents or less i should only pay €101.00 but if it's €101.50 or more i should pay €102.00

I don't get it. why dont they just send me a bill for the correct amount instead of me having to modify the amount im going to pay?

I'm all for paying less but if my bill was €101.50 why should i have to pay 50 cents more?

Can anyone explain this crazy method in madness?

Maybe they have such an antiquated system that it can't process decimals :) I'm not really sure why on Earth they would do that other than to give people a headache.
